Affordable Dance Classes

Hi all,

I have decided to teach a Dance Movement Class this fall. It will be
a class for ages 3 to 5, for both boys and girls ( I am flexible on ages if you think your child is a good fit for the class). I am charging a
very small fee of $35 a semester (which is roughly $8.25/month) and if
you know anything about dance, that deal is unheard of!

I have danced for 20 years, taught dance for 5 and have professional
dance performance experience. I have taken the last 6 years or so off
and I just decided it's time to get rolling again. What inspired me
to actually make it happen is all of the classes that I want to put my
3 year old son in that my husband and I are having a hard time
figuring out how to make it work with our small MBA budget. This is
why the class is so cheap, I am hoping to give student families an
option.

The breakdown of the class is as follows:

Title: Dance Movement

What is "Dance Movement"? This class will be an introduction to many
forms of dance including ballet, jazz, hip hop and modern. The main
goal of the class is to get your child comfortable and confident with
movement and dancing with music. Secondary, I will be teaching them
basic dance technique.

When: Once a week, 50 minutes. Monday 10:30am to 11:20 or Tuesday,
4pm to 4:50

Where: TBA (Provo)

Cost: $35 (Sept- Dec) There will be another class starting in January,
tuition will be due again at that time.

Recital: There will be one Spring recital, this is optional.

Dance Attire: Comfortable clothes (no jeans) that they can move in.
They will dance barefoot, so no purchasing of dance shoes. Dance
shoes are not needed at this basic level.

Class Size: I am going to cap the class at 15. If I have more
response and demand, I will consider adding an additional classes.

Please email me directly with questions or confirmation that you would
like to enroll.

I am creating a website (hopefully done this week) that will have all
of the information as well as registration options.

Class is open to all Utah residents, so feel free to pass onto anyone
who might be interested.

Please email me directly if you are interested or have any
questions. (rhandi@gmail.com)

Happy Dancing!
